Wanted to get back into football (soccer) after many years of not getting on the field? Want a sport that is fun and easy on the body? Want to do something to get your body moving that is low impact and suitable for all ages and abilities? Then Walking Football is for you and it’s coming to Carlton Baths!

Walking Football 4 Health will be running these sessions and they are dedicated to improving health and fitness through a safe and inclusive version of soccer.

The rules are modified to ensure the game is accessible to all ages and abilities. It is the ideal game for people with health conditions, like Parkinson’s, heart disease, diabetes, stroke and dementia.

 

How to play Walking Football

Walking Football has its own set of rules to make it easier for people of all abilities to play.

Rules include:

  • No running or jogging
  • No physical contact
  • No balls above waist height

Tuesday 10:00am – 11:00am Everybody welcome, especially seniors
Wednesday
9:30am – 10:30am Women only

Prices

  • $5.00 per sessions
  • $4.00 for seniors and Carer Card holders

What to bring and wear

We provide all equipment, so you don't have to worry about bringing anything. All you need to do is wear comfortable clothing and sport shoes.

There's no need to book into the sessions — simply turn up, join in and see what it's all about. We'd love to have you!
